Hello all!
Linda here today with stamping and misting tutorial using Stay Put Craft Mat. Let me tell you... this craft mat is super awesome and durable! If you like to paint using acrylic and water, and create art here and there, then this craft is definitely for you!

For this tutorial, the material that I use are watercolor crayon, cling stamp, stamp pad, water spray, and watercolor paper.

Color stamp with watercolor crayon and spray throughout the image;

Stamp onto watercolor paper and let air dry

For more vintage look, distress edge with dye ink using circular motion, starting from the outer part of the paper going to the center area...

To create the ground, tear scrap paper and apply distress ink onto the paper as shown below;

Once done, you may embellish your card as you wish... and here is how mine looks;

I combine two pretty ribbons on top of the card; Jute Ribbon Lime and one of the July kit ribbons. These ribbons are absolutely stunning!

Well... I hope you enjoy this tutorial and please share story with us when you experience your next crafting project using Stay Put Craft Mat!

Thank you....
Other materials:
We R Memory Keepers patterned paper
Kaiesrcraft patterned paper
Hampton Art stamp
Heartfelt Creations stamp
Staedtler watercolor crayon
Prima wooden button
Glitters and Pearl Pen

  1. I've done this kind of technique with water soluble markers, but have never tried watercolor crayons. This looks like a fun thing to try. Thanks! They turned out really great and colorful. :)
