Happy Sunday Everyone and welcome from all of the Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblers! We hope you are having a wonderful stress-free weekend and are progressing with your holiday responsibilities at an even pace!! Sure Sure....right?!?!? There are so many things going on that I realize I need many more days on my December calendar...but that's part of the fun of the holidays, too!!
I would like to share of couple of my latest cards on which I relied heavily on the offerings over at the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop. Bonnie has the most wonderful selection of all kinds of ribbon and trims!!
For the horizontal I used a 1.5" Red Grosgrain which establishes a great base for the Nestie image. You will find so many colors and widths of grosgrain ribbon in the shop...AMAZING!!! On top of the grosgrain i used some of the most wonderful 3/8" Totally Twill Moss Green which ties into bows so easily! This twill is offered in so many wonderful colors as well as a number of assortments. Check it out!!!
In order to carry out the homespun feel of this little card, I used Jute String Cocoa which alows for multiple wraps around the card and ties so nicely into a regular bow. This string is available in about 16 different colors and has so many uses--not only for cards but also for wrapping little packages always adding the downhome feel in whatever way you decide to use it!!
Finally I would like to remind you that Monday, December 13--TOMORROW--the DT at Really Reasonable Ribbon will have our monthly BLOG HOP with a nice prize and usually with prizes all along your hopping way...so please come back to this starting point to begin the fun and games. We will all be using the December Ribbon Club selection of the most gorgeous browns. So fix yourself a mug of hot chocolate and join in with us tomorrow!!!
