Thanks to you Bonnie and the team for a wonderful experience. This has been my first time round here and loved all the work.. My favourite cookie, well that is difficult. I love Christmas mince pies, but I make Dutch spekulaas cookies, as my DH is Dutch and these are so lovely and spicy and when I bake them the aroma is wonderful. Warm wishes from sunny and hot SA.

ReplyDeleteMy fav Christmas cookie, must be the gingerbread in all kinds of shapes, baked together with the kids, with Christmas songs played in the background and (preferably) snow outside !
Best regards from cold Norway (a tiny layer of snow outside here now :-))

What a wonderful hop and the ladies projects were so beautiful! My favorite holiday cookie was a cookie that my mom made every year that she made from a rolled out dough that I have yet to duplicate. She cut it in circles and then put a little bit of jam on it with a rolled out top that was cut. I swear this cookie just melted in your mouth. Maybe this year I will get it right but I try every year and it brings wonderful thoughts of my mom and I feel like she is here with me. Thanks for a fun hop!
