July 1st Challenge and June 15th Winners!!!!

Hello Everyone and Happy Canada Day to all of our Canadian followers. Hope you are enjoying the holiday and are waving some Red and White today.

First off, we would like to thank our June Guest Designer Robbie. She has really wowed us with some AWESOME projects this past month and we are so lucky to have her stick around as one of our Ribbon Club Designers. Thanks so much for all you do Robbie.

Now onto our June 15th Challenge Top 3. We had a tonne of entries again and we are SOOOOO excited that you are all enjoying the challenges so far. Our last challenge was to use ribbon to create a border and these 3 entries completely WOWED us!!!

First up we have this fantastic card by Turid. Look at the amazing weave through the card. Just Beautiful.

Next for our top 3, we've got this stunningly beautiful card by Debbie. Thank you for all your wonderful entries Debbie.

And then we have this beautiful card by Jan. The ribbon border is really smart and the card is just perfect.
Great job ladies. Grab your "I Made the RRR Top 3" badge and wear it proudly on your blogs.

Now for the winner of the border challenge, April Rose. What can we possibly say about this entry other than breathtaking. Your detail and use of the ribbon to border the entire project is GORGEOUS!!!

Please contact us using the contact link at the top of the right column to get your Gift Certificate April. Congratulations!!!

Now on to Challenge #3 which is our first challenge for July. If you guessed Patriotic, you are right! With both Canada Day and Independence Day upon us, we want to see your AMAZING patriotic projects. Show us your banners, flags, cards, layouts or any other creative project. Hair Bows, blankets, you name it. The rule... ribbon has to be used on your projects.

Make sure to leave a link to the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog on your blog entry. If you play along with us in this challenge and upload your card to a public forum, please use the code RRRC3 in your keyword or tag box, so we can find it.

Here is a little inspiration from our RRR design team to help get your mojo flowing.

Amber starts us off with this fun card filled with color. She uses the Blue with Red Stitched Edge 3/8 Grosgrain and Bright Blue 3/8 Ric Rac.

Next we have this amazing Bookmark created by Cheryl. This one is amazing with the use of 1/4" Stars Red, 1/4" Stars Blue, 7/8" Red Gingham, and Gingham Royal Blue 3/8".

What a super sweet creation from Kym. Her sweet image is the perfect match with the Flag Grosgrain. That ribbon is just the best!!!

Our Banner Queen does it again with this unbelievable piece of artwork. Cassie used Scallop Trim Red, White Satin, and Royal Blue Organza.

Talk about beautiful pieces so far. True has a spectacular card to help with your mojo. Is this not just STUNNING??? Her card has the perfect finishing touch using Royal Blue Swirls.

Erika also used swirls for her Canadian card. She used the Swirls White with Red for her card from the Great White North.

And lastly, we have a special treat today with a card from a very close friend of RRR, Debbie Littlejohn. This card is just perfect to round out the inspiration for this challenge. Debbie used the Sheer Looped White Trim to add a little extra onto her card.

Let's get this party started. You will have until 5PM CST on July 14th to enter your Patriotic project. Whether you celebrate being from Australia, Britain, or anywhere in the world, show us your patriotic projects for a chance to win a great gift certificate from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Until next time,
Really Reasonable Ribbon Design Team
