Now, be sure to leave some love at all the stops along the way. Your comments are most appreciated!

At the end of the hop, comment on this post answering the question below for a chance to win our October Ribbon Club assortment shown below.
Prize is offered to customers with US shipping addresses only.

Our question of the month is:
Have you started your holiday shopping yet?
I guess this year especially, we need to get moving because of the supply chain issues.  Hope you are having luck with yours.  I've decided there will be no holiday shopping this year.  I just want to spend time with my family and relax.  Of course I no longer have small children, so I suppose I might feel differently on the shopping thing if kids were involved.

Our winner will be selected from the numbered comments on this post on Monday, October 18th. Be sure to check back on Monday evening to see if you are our lucky winner.

Thanks so much for hopping with us today. We hope you'll stop by and so some shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon soon.

  1. No holiday shopping started yet. According to the TV news, everyone should start now.

  4. Christmas is always a delight for us - drum roll - our kids and grandkids always want MONEY - so I make a card and tag for each and add the money - sometimes with an interactive item to hold the money - or just an added pocket - etc. I really like this idea because we have Christmas a few days before or sometimes after - and my GK and adult kids can get in on the sales - so I feel like the dollar is stretched! Happy Dance time! and NO STRESS shopping for us!

  5. Luckily, I don't have too many gifts to buy anymore. Our family has gotten so big that once you are 18, you're in the name exchange (there are only 3 left under 18!) so since we haven't exchanged names yet, I have not started any holiday shopping! But I have plenty of Christmas cards made to last about 5 years!! LOL

  7. I feel like every year, it gets scaled back just a touch. Unfortunately some of that is due to older relatives passing away, but in general people seem to be coming to terms with the fact that the stress and financial strains the holidays can bring do not mesh with their original intention. Having said that, though... Yes, I have started some holiday prep already. For the last (?) probably nearly 20 years now, I have made photo calendars for my family. They have come to expect them. Ha! It's a labor of love.

  8. I just put something in my Amazon Cart for my niece and nephew because I saw on the news something about a toy shortage because of supply chain stuff.... HA! Normally I wouldn't start until December!

  9. Yes, I’ve started shopping for Christmas. I usually start shopping in the late summer or early fall to avoid the holiday shopping stress while the stores are fully stocked.

  10. I have purchased a few items just because they seemed like something special for certain recipients. We keep our Christmas giving fairly simple, and I like to spend time looking for things that will truly be enjoyed.

  11. Gorgeous Christmas Assortment for this month!
I don't have much holiday shopping that I need to do. My hubby and I will exchange a couple of small gifts, and we usually give money to our daughter. That makes it pretty simple!

  13. No, not yet, but I have been thinking on it.
I tried to leave a comment for Kathy but I could not. Her card is really gorgeous. I love the bird design. The inside is just wonderful. Edwina Brown

  15. Does buying Christmas paper collections (and other coordinating tools and supplies) count as holiday shopping? Sure does in my book!! I gift my grands with a Christmas Countdown that has to be mailed before Thanksgiving. I've definitely been shopping early! Love the traditional colors of this ribbon collection...really pretty selections. I look around all year for an interesting gift for each of my 2 adult kids. My handmade cards are gifts for 6 of my siblings...more reason to shop early for holiday paper collections!!

  17. Wonderful ribbons as usual. Wanting a simpler Christmas, our family will forgo gifts this year (no children anymore) and instead focus will be on others, providing a meal, friendship and fun.
