Sweet Baby Girl Cards

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!

Oh just wait til you see what I have for you today! It's sugar and spice and everything nice...a trio of Sweet Baby Girl cards with Really Reasonable Ribbon and Polly's Paper. I don't know what it is about baby girl cards that just make us all go "awwwwww..." but it happens every time. When I saw these darling Sweet Baby Girl digital images in Polly's Shop, I couldn't wait to make them up into some sweet baby girl cards. Throw in some beautiful Really Reasonable Ribbon, and my fingers begin to itch!
Sweet Baby Girl Card/Kathy by Design
This first card was custom made for a client of mine who was just blessed with her first granddaughter. I layered the beautiful digital image with DCWV Lace and Linen papers, using my craft knife to cut around the tops of the floral border so I could tuck it right in there. The die cut shoes are made with a Marianne cutting die. I used the eyelet paper in the collection, and I just love the way they turned out. A bit of vintage lace from my stash and some beautiful Baby Pink Seam Binding topped with a Baby Pink Two-Tone Sweetheart Blossom complete the card front.

The inside is stamped with Fiskars Precious baby quotes.

The baby girl in this sweet image reminds me of our first grandbaby. All pink and sweet resting on a pile of lace pillows. I created a belly band with 1.5" Antique Gold Gingham Ribbon. I don't know why this is called antique gold, because in real life, it's a beautiful shade of soft beige and it goes with almost anything! I topped this with one of the new ribbons in Bonnie's shop: Canvas Color Band Ribbon with Pink Stitched Edges. You're gong to be seeing a lot of this ribbon from me, as I absolutely love it and it comes in a rainbow of colors! Finally, I dressed my sweet baby girl up with a beautiful triple bow tied with Pearl Pink Delicate Stitched Satin and my Zutter-Bow-it-all Tool. I really do get a perfect bow every time I use this amazing tool, and I would be lost without it.

Another stamped sentiment from the Fiskars stamp set fills the inside of the card.

I think this card is my favorite. I created a shabby chic frame, added some Prima pearls and a beautiful triple bow tied with that same Canvas Stripe ribbon. I topped it off with White Iridescent Metallic string and a pink resin rose from my stash. Doesn't this little cutie pie look like she's about to crawl right out of the frame? These Sweet Baby Girl Digital Images are amazing!

Once I got out all the papers and bits and bobs, I figured I might as well make a bunch of these Sweet Baby Girl Cards. I always seem to be needing one.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,
