Happy Birthday Mini Book with Flowers

Hi Everyone. It's Teresa here today to share a fun and quick mini book I did to give for a special birthday in the family!

The size of my mini book is only 4x6 so it was really easy to make the insides with a 6x6 pad and the coordinating stickers that went with it.  And the best part was the Diamond Satin Ribbon assortment went perfect with it.  It was just the touch I was looking for.

It was easy to make the simple flowers by using a needle and thread to do a running stitch on the side of the ribbons and then after I tied them off, I glued a button from the Buttons Galore pink and white set in each of them. The ribbons are so  pretty with the diamond pattern on them and I could think of so many things to do with them.

Inside the box is a fold-out book and I covered it with Doodlebug Sweet Shoppe papers and the stickers that coordinate with it.  The stamp is from Lily of the Valley and I used chalks and colored pencils to color the image in.

To make it even cuter, I added buttons and bits of colored twine from the Bakers Twine Set #2.

Another staple that I can't seem to have enough of is the Jute Strings.  I used the ivory for the front on the side and it comes in lots of colors so I think I will have to order more just because I love using it so much on my projects.

And lastly I made up a quick card with some fun little monster paper and a pretty green diamond satin bow at the bottom.  This is also part of the set and it really goes great with the papers.

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment because we love to hear what you think about our ribbons!
