Vintage Snowman Wand Tutorial

I'm popping in today to share an easy to follow tutorial on how to make a vintage inspired snowman wand...and lets all just admit now that we have all needed one...and just never knew it lol. You're welcome! It's pretty easy to make..so let's get started....I'll show you the finished project as a teaser.
Okay...now that you're hooked....here's how to make one for yourself....
Paint a paper mache star ornament and hot glue it to a painted dowel.
Add silver glass glitter to the outside edges and clear glitter flakes over the rest of the surface.
Hot glue a white glittery star ornament to the center.
Add printed snowman image. This charming little guy is from Graphics Fairy.
Tinsel trim gives the edge a nice finished look.
Add generous lengths of ribbon and lace to the dowel. I used Diamonds and Dots on Silver Satin and White Crocheted Lace.
Here is a nice poofy bow of Double Faced Satin Light Silver added to the bottom of the image.
More bows of twine in Oyster. Topped off with tiny jingle bells....every wand should have jingle bells.
Last but not least....some shimmery opalescent leaves with beaded trim.
Not sure what magical powers I hope to gain from having a snowman wand....I'll just have to try it out and see : )   You can never have too much faith and magic this time of year : )
Okay that's it for me....I hope you all have a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative : ) Huggs Ginny
