Colorful Birthday........................

Hi everyone.  Bonnie here today with a fun and colorful birthday card.  It seems every time I schedule myself for a blog post here on the RRR blog, when the time comes I wonder what I was thinking - lol.

I have a really hard time feeling creative when there are other things that I feel I should be doing - this would include but not be limited to:  housework, yardwork and RRR office work.......  I'm sure you know what I mean.  :)

When I sat down at my work desk without a creative thought in my head I found this pretty paper flower I made a while back when I was playing with my Silhouette Cameo and I went from there.......

Another thing I like to do is feature some gorgeous, but sometimes overlooked ribbon styles.  With all the choices available at Really Reasonable Ribbon, sometimes there are gorgeous styles that just don't get the notice that they deserve.

You can see the beautiful 5/8" Fuchsia Satin w/Scalloped Edge Satin which I used as a base layer running horizontally across the card.  This pretty ribbon is available in 7 great colors.  I topped it with our new Fun Dots on White Grosgrain Ribbon.  I used White Iridescent String to secure my sentiment and I topped the birthday sentiment off with a small bow made with Summer Rose Seam Binding.  We now carry seam binding in 50 colors in either 5-yard pieces or 100-yard spools.

Thanks for stopping by today!

~ Bonnie ~
