Organic Flowers

Ava here, wishing you sunny skies on this Spring Sunday.
Really Reasonable Ribbon is an excellent ribbon kit club.  When I received my GDT package, I could hardly wait to open and gaze at all the textured ribbons that I ordered.  To-day I will share a short step by step tutorial on how I made my textured organic flowers for this layout.

Step # 1
Cut ribbons, cream mesh, green burlap about 3 inches in length.
Step # 2
Using a  pair of scissors or sharp tool, fray the all ends of the ribbons.  You can see in the photo above, the cut pieces and then the frayed end pieces of ribbon.
Step # 3
Cut a piece of organza ribbon about 24 inches.  The amount of ribbon you cut will determine how large of a centre you have for your flower.  Make a bow using wire to hold the centre of the bow together. You can see the bow at the back of the picture beside the green burlap band of ribbon.
Step # 4
Add a  floret  or a gem into the center of your bow.
Step # 5
Using the bow wire, thread your cream mesh ribbon piece and then the green burlap piece up against the base of your organza bow.  Shape your petals and just like magic, you have a organic flower from
Costa Rica!!!
Supplies
1.5 " Cream Mesh
.5" Burlap Woven
.58" Sheer Iridescent
Coredinations Cardstock
Helmar Glue
Dusty Attic Chipboard
Do you think the flowers complement the mono titi's velvet coat?  Oh so Costa Rican!!!
