Really Reasonable Ribbon May Blog Hop

Hello everyone and Happy Mother's Day!!  Welcome to another amazing Blog Hop here at the Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings Blog!  If you are new to our blog, we'd love to have you sign on as a follower.  We post great new crafting ideas with ribbon each day.  We don't want you to miss a thing!

For all of our challenge lovers, be sure to stop back on the 15th when we post our next RRR Challenge. New challenges are posted on the 1st and 15th of each month. We would love to have you join in.

Today you will see some great projects using our May Ribbon Club Assortment from our very talented design team. They always come up with some super ideas.

Isn't this assortment great??  It contains 8 styles and a total of 16 yards.  If you aren't already a Ribbon Club Member, why not join us today!  You will get a fun new ribbon assortment shipped automatically each month.

We also have a fun card to share which was made by our good friend Laura from Paper & Pixels magazine.  If you have not taken a look at the free sample issues for this magazine yet, I encourage you to do so.  This is a wonderful magazine that you don't want to miss.  I look forward to it each month!

This ribbon style is just perfect for this sassy card!

Now let's get hopping and see what our fabulous design team has created this month!

Here is our blog hop list.  If you get lost along the way, hop on back here and we'll get you back on track.

Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings

Now, be sure to leave some love at all the stops along the way. Your comments are most appreciated!

At the end of the hop, comment on this post answering the question below for a chance to win our May Ribbon Club assortment along with the other goodies shown below.  All the items can be found at the Really Reasonable Ribbon website.  We have a huge variety of Candi embellishments and Pearls to go with your ribbon.

Our question of the month is:

How much time do you get to devote to your favorite crafting activity each week?
If you are anything like me, the answer is 'not enough'!!  I find that I'm so much happier when I'm able to make time to play and I'm working to make that happen this year.  That being said, some weeks it doesn't really happen.  How about you?

Our winner will be selected from the numbered comments on this post on Wednesday, 5/16 using random.org. Be sure to check back on Wednesday evening to see if you are our lucky winner.

Thanks so much for hopping with us today. We hope you'll stop by and so some shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon soon.

~Bonnie~

  2. Had trouble on Misty's blog, but left comments on all the others - great work ladies, a lot of wonderful projects. I try to craft for an hour a day, hopefully longer, but it doesn't always happen thanks to 4 kids (11,5,4 & 1). But if I can't craft, looking at blogs keeps the craft bug happy :)

  3. I finished the blog hop and trully enjoyed it. What a great Mother's Day gift. Over the past few months my crafting time has been very limited due to a heavy work load and running my teens to their various activities. Because of this I have not had a weekly craft time, but rather have sporadic burst of activity. Recently I have been pushed to make time when my young niece and nephew are here. They always ask to make a card for mom, and occasionally other people in their lives. It is fun to be able to share with them. I hope to get in some crafting today as a special treat to myself. Happy Mother's Day to all!

  4. Great work All and Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers!

Obviously the answer is not as much as I'd like to. But I manage to squeeze a couple of hours in between my morning job and my other to dos.
    Wish it were more!!

Love & Light & Inspiration to All!!!

  5. Beautiful hop and I love this month's selection! I miss my mailings, but I may have to rejoin as I was always the happiest on the days my shipment would be sent! I spend maybe 4 hours a week crafting, which isn't enough but it's all the time I have right now. I work full time and craft normally on the weekend to relax. Love the hop! Thanks for sharing!

  6. What lovely projects! Pink is my favourite colour!

After starting on a new job this year, I only get weekends to hit the crafting table. And I owe it all to Hubby dearest for helping out with the house chores so I can still have my playtime. :)

  9. Bonnie, all the ideas on the hope were really pretty cool! I got a lot of new ideas for using my ribbons -- love it! And I'm kinda surprised everyone didn't answer the question the same way -- not enough time! That's my truth. Things are changing for me though as I'm job hunting, but I'm sticking with not enough!

  10. This is the first time I have blog hopped with RRR. What a talented and eclectic group -- I enjoyed everyone's projects. As for crafting, I have a full time job so I only indulge for 2 or 3 hours on the weekends. Thanks for asking.

  11. What a fun hop and fabulous creations!! I belong to the Ribbon Club and it is so much fun to receive the ribbons in the mail! Always a pleasant surprise! I am fortunate enough to be retired, so have all the time I want to devote to my crafting. Thanks for the fun blog hop!

  13. Awesome projects and very inspiring! I don't feel like I ever get enough crafty time. I usually spend about 5 hours or so on the weekends in my scrap room. I would love to spend at least double that but I just have way too many other things to juggle.

  14. Wow!!! Beautiful projects presented by each designer. Thanks for hosting. The answer to your question.... For me I really only get 2-3 hours per week for actually working on projects. But I spend every lunch hour viewing fantastic blogs and sketching ideas.

  15. Wonderful hop...love this months ribbon set! I try to get a least one card a day done. Hours I can't say, it may take 1-2 hours to make one card!

  16. I love the colors in this set!
I never have enough time for cards. I generally put aside a couple hours a week to work on my hobby. I always have more ideas than I have time!

  18. Laura's card makes the absolute best of that pink and black combo! Love, love, love it. Have already received my May club assortment and am using it faster than I could have imagined. Lovely ribbons this month. I'm off to hop.

  19. Ooops, forgot to answer the question. I actually get to devote an hour or so each day during the week and more than that on weekends. But no matter how much time is available, I could always use just one more hour... :-D

  20. I wish I dedicated more time to crafting but unfortunately I'm a holiday/special occasion crafter more times than not even though I love to spend time in my craft room.

  21. I don't get to craft everyday but I usually do something most days I'm home. I'm a SAHM so that's pretty often. I take advantage of time when my baby is asleep and my kids are at school. On average 5-6 hours per week.

  22. That was a fun hop. It was great to see all the creative ways to use ribbon. These colors were great...probably my all time favorite combination! I probably spend tons of hours researching, reading blogs, shopping etc., but only 5-6 hrs. on average a week crafting.

  23. I wish I could say that I had all the time in the world to do my passion, which is card making. Today I had that. My husband gave me the entire day in my room where I was able to create several cards for different challenges. Happy Mother's Day to me. Love that man, but for the most part I get about 5 hours a week. This was a great blog hop. Love, love, love the usage of the RRR ribbons.

  25. I get the most crafting done while the kids are at school or during the wee hours of the night. But I prefer daytime better because the sunlight shines through making it so much more pleasant.

I get to "play" as many hours a day as I wish. Isn't that great!!

  28. Such a fun blog hop, loved everyone's creations. And my answer is yes, not enough time to do what I love, probably 6-8 hours a week.

  29. Loving the black and pink combo :-)

As I work full time there are never enough hours in the day to craft, but my OH has a time consuming hobby too so we both try and make at least an hour or so each evening for them as a wind down at the end of the day and also at least a day at the weekend although this is never enough, but better than nothing I guess!

xx Happy crafting and glittery hugs xx

  34. I usually spend a couple nights a week after supper until bedtime crafting. I also spend additional time, a little almost every day, reading blogs & watching tutorials.

  36. This has truly been a stunning hop, wow, so much inspiration from all the ladies, absolutely enjoyed myself, so thanks to alll !!
ps:; could not leave a comment on Bonnie and Tilly's blog, as soon as i click on the comment button, i get this awful white page, arghhhhhhhhhhh, but been there, seen the projects and thought they were stunning!!
have to agree with you, not nearly enough time, more so when work is so hectic as at the mo, too bushed to craft at night, so that leaves me with the weekend and then i want to cram everything into a few hours, lol, soooooooooo, not nearly enough.........hehehehe
Thanks again for a lovely hop and lotsa luv
