DIY Christmas Decor With Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello Really Reasonable Ribbon fans!  Jan here sharing a canvas bag hanger.  I've dressed up the little coin envelope with Cherry Baker's Twine.  I love the assortment of Baker's twine at Really Reasonable Ribbon!

I started with 2 pieces of 7"x 9" canvas.  Leaving the top open, sew the sides and bottom.  Tea stain the bag and lay it on a towel.
While the bag is still wet, sprinkle on a bit of ground cinnamon.  Mist with Glimmer Mist.

Using a paint brush, brush the cinnamon in.
Using Ribbon Adhesive, adhere vintage lace at the top.

I bought a red dog collar with bells at the dollar store.  For an aged look, soak the collar in salt water for several days.

Hot glue a 2"x7" piece of weathered wood to the top of the canvas bag.

Add vintage images and a small coin envelope wrapped in Cherry Baker's Twine.

Hot glue the metal sleigh in place.  Add some mini Christmas ornaments.

  1. Oh I just love this piece-how creative to add the cinnamon in for the aged look and I bet it smells wonderful.
Twine works well with this design.
