Altering Your Ribbon Storage

I love altering things to make them my own. Bringing a useful storage solution into my own little world is truly a bunch of fun. Hi Everyone, Erika Taylor here today to share with you my ribbon storage solution. I use the wonderful 36" Ribbon Organizer from Clip It Up and love how much ribbon it holds. Now my craft space was green, brown and red, so I wanted the Organizer to really fit in, so what better way than to alter it. I first spray painted it red to match my space, then added ribbons and trims to really make it my own. This is how it looked before I altered it.

And after all was said and done, the Clip It Up 36" Ribbon Organizer ended up like this...

Here are a few other photos for you, to see the detail of the unit. I used Ranger Paint Daubers in Pitch Black and Silver as well as a Tim Holtz Mask.

Yup, what can I say, I'm a Twihard!!! Try altering up your ribbon organizers to really give them a personalized feel.  Don't forget to share with us your ribbon storage ideas for a chance to win some amazing prizes. I so hope you liked my little ribbon organizer today. Make sure you leave me tonnes of comments because you may just win win win.

Until next time

Toodles
Erika Taylor

  10. OH WOW, thats amazing, i love it. Im a big twilight fan too and would love to incorporate it into my craft cupborad but as its only 6' long and 4' wide with no window its just too small and dark to go all gothic-y. I really do love what you have done to your storage unit, im soooo jealous.
