Challenge #14 - Photo Inspiration Theme

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge here at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Please scroll down to the next post for the winners of the last challenge.

Challenge #14 is a Photo Inspiration Theme (photo shown down below a bit) and we are thrilled to have The Cutting Cafe as our sponsor.

The cutting cafe blinkie
Hello my name is Regina Easter. I have 4 wonderful children and an awesome supportive husband. I have for as long as I can remember loved all the aspects of creating things with paper and drawing.  So it was only fitting that I decided to open up The Cutting Cafe' and I am loving every bit of this new venture.  The Cutting Cafe' offers affordable Printable Stamps and Cutting Files. The Cutting Files which are basically just like templates are files that you Print out using your home printer, Cut, Assemble and then Embellish.....Very Easy.....The Cutting Files also come in the format where you can cut out the files using some of the latest Machine Cutters like the Pazzles Inspiration, Bosskut Gazelle and Cricut (with Scal software). The Printable Stamps are just that, images that are sent to you through email that you print out using your home printer. After the images are printed out, you can just color them in like you would any other stamped imaged...One great thing about the Printable Stamps and Cutting Files is that you no longer have to worry about finding space to store all of your stamps....You can keep them all in a folder in your computer and use over and over again.

The Cutting Cafe is happy to offer one random challenge participant three digi stamp sets of their choice.  What an awesome prize!!

The theme for challenge #14 is Photo Inspiration and this is the beautiful photo.

Take whatever inspires you from the photo and apply that to your project.  It could be silver and gold, metallics, Christmas, ornaments, or whatever the photo brings to mind.  Take that inspiration and create a card, a layout, multi media piece, tag, ATC, hair bow, you name it.  Your project qualifies as long as you use the photo for inspiration and include some ribbon, lace or trim.

The design team was able to choose from several fun digi sets from The Cutting Cafe to work with for their challenge samples.  There are so many fun sets to choose from.  You really have to stop over and take a look at all they have to offer!

Here is a little inspiration from our design team to get you started:

Cheryl made a fun Santa hat shaped card using the Santa Hat
template from The Cutting Cafe.  The bows and hat brim are
made from sheer ruffle edge ribbon.  The hat is edged with red scalloped trim.

Aphra used the box template from The Cutting Cafe to make this cute little neighbor gift of hot chocolate.  She embellished with sheer white dots organza.

Kerri used the Gingerbread Pattern from The Cutting Cafe
to make this fun Gingerbread ornament with silver shimmer satin.

Erika used the Santa's Hat template from The Cutting Cafe
and added pink wired pom-poms, velvet ric rac and 1.5" pleated satin as trim.

Bonnie made some super-fast and easy gift tags using the Christmas Gift Tags templates from The Cutting Cafe along with some metallic band edge ribbon and silver/gold bi-stripe ribbon
