Fun 4 Fall Ribbon - Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hello, this is Connie!! I am just so excited to be posting my first card for the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog!! It is the first week of November...fall is in full swing, and I am sure many of you have already started making your Thanksgiving plans! My card today celebrates one of my most favorite holidays!! I just love Thanksgiving...probably because it is always around my birthday, but I do love getting together with the family too! :)

There are MANY different wonderful ribbons offered at the Really Reasonable Ribbon store for fall...in fact, there is a link on the side of the store "Fun 4 Fall", where both of the ribbons I used on this card today are located! One of my most favorite things to do with ribbon is layer them. Here I started with this FABULOUS 1.5" Brown Pleated Satin Ribbon...love the texture of this ribbon. I then layered it with the uber soft 5/8" Rudbeckia Hand-Dyed Silk ribbon tied in a bow with a bow easy...can you say YUMMY!! :)

The image for this card is from Innovative Stamp Creations called Fall in New England. The image was inked with memento black ink, colored with copics and then distressed with scattered straw & walnut stain distress Inks. To finish off the card, I added the sentiment, and an orange gem in the center of my bow!

Thanks so much for visiting today! Have a great day!

Hugs! Connie
