Gobble Till You Wobble

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are enjoying your turkey day. In honor of the occasion, I created a couple of cute ribbon turkey place-cards. These were really quick to make. You could probably whip them up in time for dinner. Here's how.

Gather your supplies: 1 7/8" scallop circle punch, 1" circle punch, 1/4" circle punch, 5/8" circle punch, scallop scissors, glue dots, pop dots, liquid adhesive, and Autumn Swiss Dots Assortment.

Punch and stack circles for the turkey's body.

Add the beak and feet.

Add eyes. Cut the gold circles in half to create the eye lids.

Add the warbler. (Is that what it's called?) I used scalloped scissors to cut a semi-circle from red paper and then trimmed it with regular scissors.

How cute, huh? He looks like HE ate too much turkey! LOL!

Create feathers for the turkey by cutting three strips of red, orange, and yellow swiss dots ribbon. Use glue dots to create loops from the ribbon.

Use more glue dots to attach the feathers to the back of the body in a fan shape. Then add the turkey to your card.

Well, thanks for wobbling in today. Hope you have a wonderful holiday. Toodles, Aphra

  2. Adorable! It's nice to see things that are cut with machines or specific punches but I LOVE seeing the ones that are pieced together like your little turkey. So sweet!
Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for sharing! :o)
