Ribbon background

Hello, crafty peeps! I've got a project FULL of ribbon for you today! As I sat thinking about today's project, I knew that I wanted to use ribbon in a non-traditional way. I finally decided on replacing my beloved Designer Paper with ribbon strips, and make my own background. I think it's a wonderful and effective way to use these neglected ribbon scraps! Check it out:

I used two lengths of Satin with Grosgrain Edge Light Blue ribbon, two of Jade Grosgrain, one Wired Woven Check Red and One Double Ruffles Red, and finished with a bow made out of Baker's Twine Aqua.
I stamped the sentiment on ribbon too - you've got to be careful with satin though and not press the stamp too hard against it, for the ink may bleed.
I hope you like it! Have a happy Monday,
Iwona
