Oh so many ribbons and trims and other ramblings!!

Happy Sunday, everyone, and welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog. I'm Jacque and would love to show you a couple of my latest cards and point out products from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store that I have used on them. These are new ribbons/trims for me and I am so impressed with all of them.

Since several of you have asked, I would also like to share with you that I know absolutely NOTHING about how to make a bow. I could not function without the wonderful Bow-Easy Tool from RRR. I am truly a ribbon lover and use bows on almost everything. Complete instructions are included with the Bow-Easy and after you make your first bow, you will never even try a bow without it. Personally I have found that you will give alot more body and stability to your bow if you wrap it around the tool twice. Try it...you will LOVE it!!

On this first card, I used two types of ribbon/trim--1.5" Jute Ribbon Natural and Totally Twill Old Gold. Both of these added so much texture and casual to my card...Love them both...This twill ties so wonderfully...and check out how many lovely colors Bonnie stocks in both of these products!! AMAZING!!

In order to give a little bit of a different look for this card I used Jute String Red, wrapping it around the card 4 times to define the horizontal...I NEED this product in ALL colors!!!!!

Hope you have enjoyed my little ramble...so wander over and check out Bonnie's shop....you will be AMAZED too!!!! Her customer service is TOPS also!! Hugs til next time!!

  4. Hi there, I'm a newby...I was just curious what kind of images you had used. Is it Cardstock, Embellishments, papercrafts? I would love to do a larger version of this for Fall decoration! Beautiful! Vanessa
