Summer Elegance Shaker Card
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! It's hard to believe, but here in North Carolina, Summertime is peeking around the corner. Creamy white blossoms on the magnolia trees fill the air with their sweet fragrance. Their appearance inspired this Summer Elegance Shaker Card. Soft shades of pink ribbons seemed to be the perfect partner for this 5" x 7" top fold card.
As you all probably know, I love to use ribbon to create a border on a card. Medium Pink Gingham Ribbon complemented the floral images in the paper collection perfectly. Dress up the border with a ribbon slide from the RRR Embellishment Category.
I dressed up my handmade magnolia blossoms with a poufy Light Pink, Ivory and Mauve Sheer Variegated Ribbon bow. Tying a triple loop bow is not as hard as you might think. Just break out your Zutter-Bow-it-All Tool and you'll have a perfectly poufy bow in no time flat! Top with with an Iridescent Metallic String Bow for the perfect finishing touch.
Here's a peek inside the card...which is actually more like a gift, thanks to all the goodies tucked inside.
I hope I've shared some tips and tricks that you can use in your next ribbon adventure.
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday a Little Late.....
Hey there ribbon lovers! Today I'm sharing a bright and colorful handmade birthday card featuring some of the ribbons from both the April and May Ribbon Club Assortments from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I created a 6-1/2" x 4-3/4" top fold card created with my usual layered look. This time I used just the blue ribbons from the May Ribbon Club Assortment and I pulled the 3/8" daffodil diamond satin from the April Assortment to pull in a little yellow. My digital sentiment is my main focal point, topped with a pretty 'bi-texture' bow and I added a few pretty Sweetheart Flowers along the bottom of the oval sentiment panel.

Happy Birthday Card by Cheryl
On my card for today, I chose this gorgeous design paper from my stash, and just had to use the Gorgeous Taffeta Ribbon from RRR. I then Ruched the Bay Leaf Seam Binding and hot glued it to the ribbon. The flowers were made using Cheery Lynn designs old flower dies, and then using my Glass flower Technique that can be found in my Tutorials Here! I do have several videos on this technique, hope you enjoy! I also added the 8mm pearl to the center of each. Each of my layers have sewing that I did on my sewing machine, and lastly I added white dots to each layer. The inside is also done and ready for writing.

Pockets and Pinwheels with Patriotic Ribbon
Hello, Ribbon Lovers! Believe it or not, Summer is right around the corner! Here in the US, that means it is time to break out our patriotic ribbons and get ready for Memorial Day, Flag Day, and Independence Day holidays. So I've whipped up a fun little "inside out" pocket on the front card. Then I dressed it up with a bunch of patriotic ribbons from the RRR shop. I don't know about you, but I love working with good old red, white and blue!
The star of the show is my favorite Patriotic Plaid Ribbon. I've used it to make bows, fishtail banners and as a border on the box pocket.
Dress up the top of a little tag with ribbon streamers made from Patriotic Plaid, 3/8" Checkerboard Poppy Satin, and Tiny Stars Grograin ribbons. (The blue is out of stock, but you could use the red, then use Blue Diamond Satin Ribbon in place of the Poppy Red.)
Grosgrain Ribbon makes a really cute border on the bottom of the tag, too. I cut a fishtail end on one side to balance out the rosette on the right.
Here's a peek inside the card. I added a little flap and pocket feature.
There is room beneath the flap to add a photo with a little journaling on the left. And you could tuck a little ice cream gift card inside the folded journal card just for fun!
I hope I've shared some tips and tricks that you can use when you get ready to create your red, white and blue projects. Don't forget to check out the May Ribbon Club Nautical Americana ribbons, too! They are perfect for summer holiday and vacation projects.
Thanks for stopping by!
