Silver & Gold Gingerbread House Card

Hello friends and happy Monday to you! I hope you had a lovely weekend and to start of the week, I have a super sweet and special holiday card to show you! I just received my new Gingerbread House Die set from Anna Griffin and let me tell you, it is so much fun! Almost as much fun as making a real gingerbread house for the holidays, but without all the mixing, baking and dishes to clean up...just lots of little pieces of paper scraps)😊
And what goes perfect with this silver and gold gingerbread house? The fabulous Silver and Gold Mix November Ribbon Club Assortment, but of course! It sparkles, it shines and it's a match made in heaven with my little gingerbread house easel card! 💖 it! I made a big double bow for the chimney using 2 of the beautiful ribbons from this assortment; Diamond Satin Old Gold and Holiday Dots and Gold Ovals on White Satin Ribbon. I added a Silver Glitter Stardust Heart Shaped Rhinestone to the center of the double bow.
For the decorations on the front of the house, I used 3D foam sheets, then added gold glitter foil to them. I made 2 small bows using 3/8" Satin with Silver Metallic Edge White and added a rhinestone heart to each center, then I placed them atop each gold lollipop.
What a shimmery, glittery good time this festive easel card was to put together! I hope you like it!
And that's all for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by and letting me share a bit of holiday inspiration with you! Until next time, happy crafting!

Autumn Woodlands Folio and a new Ribbon Crush

Hello, Friends!  Oh, how I love fall!  This Autumn Woodlands Folio reminds me of walking on crunchy leaves under a warm blue sky as squirrels and little woodland creatures scurry all around me.

See that beautiful ribbon closure?  It's my latest ribbon crush from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This 3/4" Variegated Sheer Ribbon comes in a multitude of shades...and I might just have added them all to my shopping cart in my last trip to RRR.  This particular shade, Moss Green/Taupe is simply stunning with fall colors.  But I think it would look amazing with vintage Christmas papers as well!

Ribbon closures are my favorite way to hold a gatefold folio like this one together.  This ribbon is extra easy to work with, and has a gorgeous soft shimmer that really adds a touch of elegance to the cover design.  Would you like a peek at what's behind the gates on this sweet little 5" x 6 1/2" folio?

Well, first, Mr. Fox is here to welcome you inside!

One of the things I love about a gatefold design is all the little nooks and crannies that appear as you open the door.

I created a box style pocket in the center panel of the card.  I just love all the yummy woodland elements in this paper collection from Ciao Bella, don't you?

Sweet treats inside the box style pocket turn this into a lovely little gift.

And where there is honey, one simply must have tea!  And a vintage silver plate teaspoon to go along with it!

The little hedgehog panel on the left has a magnetic closure, and a secret hidden page where you can tuck in a note, a gift card or photo.

And here is a look at the back side of the folio.  I've attached the ribbon under the patterned paper, then wrapped it around the spines and under one of the gates.  This way, you can tie the album securely, but open it easily.

I hope I've introduced you to a lovely new style of ribbon. If you are new to tying bows, you are sure to love it, as it is soft and easy to tie.

Happy Harvest with Lilybean!

Hello everyone.  Today I'm excited to share this sweet harvest card I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon and My Makers Movement using the darling Home For the Holidays stamp set and Matching Die set.  I absolutely LOVE these! I also used the beautiful ribbons and adhesives from RRR!

On my card below I used the beautiful ivory brown and copper plaid ribbon to create my bow.
To start with, I chose my design papers.  I have tons of these sheets, so I started with a 6 x 6 card base, then cut the brown in 5 3/4" x 5 3/4", then layered the design paper on that (5 1/2" x 5 1/2") the next layer was done.

The truck was stamped and colored using Copic markers.  I then used the coordinating die to cut it out, and then finished coloring it up, so no white edges showed. I stamped the sweet sentiment on the truck door using my mini misty tool. The pumpkins I did the same.

The greenery was cut using the fall pumpkin die, and cut in a green card stock, then I dusted it using the Tim Holtz peeled paint Distress Ink, and the Judykins duster. The rims, and bumper were colored in a grey metallic marker and then I added glossy accents to them.

Happy Harvest is from the same stamp set and was stamped using vintage photo.

and foam squares and tape runner refill as well!

And that sweet face you see, well that is our dear Lilybean (Lily) she is our newest member to the Walker family and is a Persian Kitten, and she is so SWEEET!

Welcome by again, everyone!  We're so glad to have you visit us today as I share another fun card I created using some fun products from Really Reasonable Ribbon. This is one AWESOME store where you can find SO much more than just ribbons.  In fact, Really Reasonable Ribbon carries the most amazing variety of ribbons, trims, twines, and all things spooled as well as oodles and oodles of sweet EmbellishmentsMulberry FlowersAdhesives, and so much more.

For today's card, I started with some cute patterned papers and chipboard from a Carta Bella line called Christmas Delivery.  I put my card base all together using strips of Scor-Tape, and I added a small paper bag where I tucked in a coffee gift card.  I ran a width of Silver Seam Binding across the card, and used the Silver Seam Binding along with a piece of Olive Wrinkle Ribbon.  Next, I added a piece of bundled Red Burlap String, and tucked in some Red Double Head StamensMilk White Miniature Double Head Stamens, and a few Matcha Green Miniature Double Head Stamens.  The coffee cups were stamped with a (retired) set from my stash.

As I've mentioned before, I'm smitten with the adorable new Embellishments found at Really Reasonable Ribbon including the cute Bronze Pear Shaped Safety Pin I used that's holding a cute little tag stamped with the word Coffee.  These darling Pear Shaped Safety Pins cost just $2.19 for 100 pieces, and they come in various metal finishes.  Aren't they just SO cute?  There are so many great Embellishments at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and you'll be amazed at the wide variety of awesome products you'll find there.  It's worth a look!

Thanks so much for visiting us, and I really hope you'll take some time to look around in the RRR store.  Have fun creating, and please stop by again soon.  There's always lots of great inspiration here, and you'll have so much fun shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Cold Hands Warm Heart

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here to share a fun and festive greeting card created with some gorgeous trims for Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I think this sweet shimmery ribbon coordinates so perfectly with this card.
I'm using a bold checkered patterned paper with a delicate floral as the background to this holiday sentiment.
A loopy twine bow and vintage button finishes the bow off perfectly.

I've added a generous sized floral arrangement here with flowers that are made by me. There's also a few Sweetheart Blossoms tucked in along with die cut foliage.

~Really Reasonable Ribbon~ Shimmer Sating Scarlet, Ivory Burlap String, 2 Tone Green Sweetheart Blossoms.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

Forever Fall Book Box

Temperatures are dropping and Fall is upon us! I just love this time of year! Hello friends! Linsey here today sharing my latest altered project, a lovely book box keepsake to commemorate all the beauty and love this season holds.
The box is covered inside and out with 12x12 papers. The front is decorated with a variety of Fall stickers, chipboard and die cuts. I added a lovely array of flowers to the front as well. They include: WOC Open Roses Orange, WOC Open Roses Deep Ivory, WOC Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms White, and all edges were covered with washi tape.
The opening holds a pretty tag and features flowing Orange Ribbon from the Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon Autumn Assortment and Theresa White Crochet Lace. The tag is attached with a blue button tied with Burlap String Natural
Inside the box is a space for journaling and there are large tags meant for adding photos from the season as well as more journaling areas. More tags could be added or even small mementos to keep inside the box.
I really enjoyed putting this project together. I hope you've enjoyed seeing it!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful day! Until next time, happy crafting!

Very Merry Loaded Envelope

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Christmas will be here before we know it.  So I thought I'd share one of my favorite Christmas ribbons with you today.  Ivory/Rust/Gold Plaid ribbon has a wonderful vintage vibe, a touch of holiday sparkle, and ties the prettiest bows!  I've used it to adorn this loaded envelope, and I love how well it works with the Carta Bella Christmas Market paper collection!

Not only did I use it in the bow clusters along with some gold metallic string, I also used it to pretty up the little treats I tucked into this loaded envelope.

I also used it to make a belly band on this sweet little photo folio insert.

Both sides of the envelope are decorated so that if I get tired of one scene, I can flip it and look at another.

Here I've used Silver Metallic String to make the cute banner on the envelope flap.

I think that loaded envelopes make great Secret Santa, Holiday Swap and Hostess Gifts.  Plus they are fun to make!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Halloween Card

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you all!
Today I have a super cute card I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Halloween Assortment from September, but the ribbons can also be purchased separately and I will list and have links below.

So for my card today I stared with some cute Halloween design papers, layered with black card stock and I sewed each layer together using orange thread. Next I stamped up the My Makers Movement stamps and colored them up using Copics and then cut them out using coordinating dies. The bows were made using Really Reasonable Ribbon's beautiful Delicate Stitched Satin ribbon, and the cute grosgrain spider webs ribbon. I also added some stamens to the bows. The sentiment is from Project Bin stamps, and paper came from the 6 x 6 paper pad Halloween Basics by Recollections.

Really Reasonable Ribbon supplies used:
Delicate Stitched Ribbon
Spider Webs on black grosgrain
scor-tape
scotch advanced tape refill
black foam tabs
embellishments
Black stamens

Hope you enjoyed my post for today, and thank you for stopping by!
hugs to all,
Cheryl
