Hey, Chickie! Easter Treat Bag

Hello Ribbon Lovers!  There is something special about fluffy little Easter chicks that makes us all go, "Awwwwww, cute."  With that in mind,  I thought it would be fun to work up an Easter Treat Bag using the glorious Welcome Spring Ribbon Club Assortment.  These ribbons are the color of hyacinths and apple blossoms and daffodils, and baby green leaves and all spring colors we love so very much.  Take a peeky:

Totally scrumptious, right?  They made me think of the color palette in the Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments paper collection.  So I pulled that out of my stash along with a middy bitty kraft bag and went to work.

The colors of this bag make me think of the lilac bushes that used to flourish in my home town when I was growing up in Vermont.  I topped my little bag with a loopy bow tied with glorious purple satin ribbon from the Ribbon Club Assortment.  It is the perfect color match for this collection, and you know how hard it can be to match purple! The tag inside the bag is topped with scrumptious purple/pink plaid ribbon, also from the Ribbon Club Assortment.

 Have you seen the beautiful new  English Roses Bonnie is carrying in the shop? I used a purple one as the base for my flower cluster then surrounded it with apple blossoms, sweetheart blossoms and spiral stamens. I tied a teeny tiny bow in the center of my itty bitty button using Ivory Burlap String, and then tucked in some stick pins and a little brass chick charm in for good luck.

I tucked a dressed up in its Easter Best Graphic 45 Staples tag inside the bag, along with an individually wrapped chocolate.  This little Easter Treat Bag would be the perfect little surprise for a friend or co-worker, and it would mail nicely, too.

Here Comes the Easter Bunny...1,2,3

Happy weekend ribbon peeps!  Got some colorful Easter goodies for you today.  Delightful Easter egg colors...remember dipping them into the food dye and watching the colors settling on the eggs?  These were made for my post here at RRR.    As usual, I used a mix of paper patterns, flowers, etc.  I used Paradise Aqua seam binding, totally twill yellow, swiss dots grosgrain bright yellow, and chevron striped twill turqoise ribbon.   Lots of mixing and matching and having fun along the way!  Happy weekend ya'll!  cherry

 PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.

It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customize > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog until you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.

We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)

Vintage Easter Greetings

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back today to share a lovely vintage Easter card I made with images from Polly's Paper Studio and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I created my card base with two papers selected from the Vintage Easter Creativity Kit.  I then popped up one of the vintage digi images included and the sentiment banner with foam dots.  I added some subtle sparkle to the image with my Clear Wink of Stella marker. 

I created a and for the card using the new Lemon with Stitched Center Satin ribbon.  I then tied a multi-loop bow to the band made with Lemonwood Stripe Baker's Twine.  I hope you enjoy my Easter card and have a wonderful day!

Really Reasonable Ribbon Design Team Call

Really Reasonable Ribbon is doing a full design team call and we are looking for 2 or 3 new members to join our highly creative team. We are looking for talented crafters and artists who love using ribbon, work well with deadlines and have great personalities. If you are a card maker, scrapbooker, hair bow maker, paper crafter, ribbon artist, altered artist or if you do anything fun and unique with ribbon please apply. Our readers are looking for variety, so don't be afraid to show your creative side.  Unusual and creative projects are encouraged.

Requirements

- You must be a versatile crafter who loves to work with ribbon.

- You must be a self-starter and able to manage your time to meet project deadlines that are given out well in advance.

- You must have an active blog and the ability to take quality pictures and post interesting entries directly to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog. We require 5-6 projects per month as follows:

*** We require 3 projects per month posted directly to our blog. You must also post projects using 'Really Reasonable' ribbon on your own blog and promote Really Reasonable Ribbon whenever possible.

 *** You will be required to link the RRR blog and business on your blog, and participate in and promote special events (usually blog hops) 1-2 times per month. Typically we have one blog hop per month but we may occasionally participate in a second activity in any given month.

 *** You will be required to create a sample project for one of our two monthly challenges.

- You will also be required to assist us in commenting on RRR challenge entries.

- We ask that you commit to a 6 month term from May 2016 through November 2016.

Rewards

- You will receive $25 in free product of your choice per month plus a free Monthly Ribbon Club assortment for use in your projects. You will also enjoy a 20% discount on any other purchases made with free shipping if additional purchases coincide with your regular monthly shipment.

Shabby Pink Eater Bunny w/Frame Wall Hanging

Hey there Peeps! Happy Tuesday to all of you. I'm feeling a little discombobulated with leap year but I think I'm back on track now : ) I'm sharing a very shabby and Eastery project with lovely ribbons from the  Welcome Spring Ribbon of the Month March Assortment.

 

This is the bestest Spring assortment I have ever seen!!!! Which inspired me to create this.....

 

I'm also using the Cottage Roses, Cosmos, Sweetheart Blossoms, Open Roses, Ivory Burlap String, Victoria White Lace.
