On Your Special Day

My day here at Really Reasonable Ribbon today!  So I thought I would share these cards that make me yearn for warmer days.  Not too much longer and the butterflies will be flitting around and the flowers will be blooming.  Our snow is melting and I can see patches of earth here and there.   Whether my flowers survived, only time will tell.  Our winter was pretty brutal.
These cards use bits and pieces that all just kinda came together rather easily....I used Baby Pink Seam Binding along with Bay Leaf Seam Binding.  I also added these stunning English Roses in Pink.  LOVE them!  Want to use them on everything!  They are perfect for the coming Spring weather and Easter holiday projects!  Well Happy Monday ya'll!  Hugs, Cherry

Watercolor Valentine

Hi crafty peeps!  I am back today to share one last Valentine's Day card in honor of the day today.  I added a beautiful band and bow made from ribbon that can be found at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I used several shades of mauve and red along with Bronze shimmer watercolors from my Gansai Tambi watercolor set to create an artful background.  I then die cut a heart from 40lb velum and heat embossed my sentiment and hearts onto it with bright white embossing powder by WOW.  I then attached the velum heart to the watercolor panel.  I mounted the watercolor panel to an A2 white base that has 7/8" White Satin with Grosgrain Edge Ribbon wrapped around it.  I also wrapped Washi tape from my collection around the ribbon as well.  I created a double looped bow with the same 7/8" White Satin with Grosgrain Edge Ribbon and adhered that to the panel.  As a final touch I added some gold glitter enamel dots and clear rhinestones.  The whole thing was then foam mounted to an A2 card base.  I hope you enjoy my card and have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

I'm so Lucky!

Hi friends.  I'm still playing with my fabulous February 'Gorgeously Green' Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Today I'm sharing a fun St. Paddy's Day themed card.
The sentiment on this card could easily be changed to make a birthday card, thank you card, or whatever you need.  The beautiful dies used on this card are from Cheery Lynn Designs.
For my bow on this card I used a 3/8" ribbon instead of my usual 5/8" width.  Because I still wanted a substantial size bow, I did two loops on each side for each color.  The bow was created on my Bow-it-All V2.0.

For a tutorial on how to create this bi-color bow, please click HERE.
All the ribbons on my card came from the February Ribbon Club Assortment.  This great assortment contains 9 styles and a total of 18 yards of ribbon.  JOIN TODAY and you can pick up our special deal this month where you can start with the January and February assortments for a special low price.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on the other products used on this card, please visit my Make Time to Craft Blog.

For a Special Friend

Hey there Paper Peeps!  Ginny here to share a very special card I created for my dear friend and crafty conspirator Jennifer.  We go wayyyyyy back to when our kids were little. We actually both have an Alexander (same age now and nearly done with college) and a Jonathan (one year apart and  nearly done with high school.)   So we've sat together at  more football practices and band performances and scout meetings than you can count. We even have matching stadium outfits lol. Anyhoo....she's a very special friend and I'm so glad she had a nice birthday!

I'm using the gorgeous Turquoise Chevron Striped Twill to wrap the card and make a little topper for the tag.
Okay that's all for me. Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : )

Hello, to all our ribbon-loving friends.  Today I'm sharing a sweet project that I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon, and I really hope it inspires you to stop by and check out all the AMAZING ribbons, laces, trims and more that are carried in the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop.  There's SO MUCH to see.
This card was created using some patterned papers that I inked and machine stitched together.  Once I had done that, I added some fabulous trims from the best little ribbon shop ever - Really Reasonable Ribbon.  First, I put a lengh of the super lovely Bay Leaf Seam Binding on the card.  Then, I created a bow with the Bay Leaf Seam BindingBlack Seam BindingSolid Mint Baker's Twine, and Black Burlap String by May Arts.
I topped that pretty bow with a Black Open End Rose and two White Open End Roses.  There are so many lovely flowers and embellishments at Really Reasonable Ribbon in addition to all the amazing ribbons and trims they carry.  There's never a lack of availability, and you're sure to find LOTS of great items.  So, why not head on over to do some shopping now?  You will absolutely LOVE their selection, prices and ALL the great inspiration you will find on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  AND.....there's a fun challenge going on now.  So, be sure to stop by and play along.

Happy Easter

Springtime and Easter are around the corner and it is a good time to take inventory of your ribbons and flowers for your projects and cards for this time of year. You might want to start your springtime supply with the
Really Reasonable Ribbon February Ribbon Club collection of gorgeous yellow and green ribbons and some Wild Orchid Craft flowers.

I am using the gorgeous 5/8" Satin Swiss Mini Dots Apple Green ribbon on my card today.  It has the dots printed on one side of the ribbon and the other side has the solid green which is show above.  This is perfect for matching your two ribbons together for a double bow like the one above.  Of course, I would not have been able to make this bow without the Zutter Bow-It-All V2 bow maker.  I used the 1" Scor-Tape to tape this ribbon on my card.  Using the Scor-Tape, I am able to keep my ribbon on the bow in the exact place that I want it to be on the card.

Other supplies:
Graphic 45 - Ladies Diary

Cheery Lynn:  Boutique circle, Sophia's Heart Doily, Leaf Flourish die, Ivy Strip,   Deco E corner, Horizon Circle Boutique Stacker Frame.

Whimsy Stamp-Bunny's Choice
Creative Expressions-Sue Wilson-Petite Vinery
Stampin Up-Happy Easter set
