Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge here at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Please scroll down to the next post for the winners of the last challenge.
The theme for Challenge #116 is an Aqua and Light Coral Color theme.
Create a card, layout, multi media piece, tag, ATC, hair bow, you name it. Just be sure to follow the theme above and use ribbon/lace or trim somewhere on your project.

I was going to find an inspiration photo on Pinterest, but then I thought there would be not better inspiration photo than the RRR April Ribbon Club assortment, so here it is:

This assortment contains 9 styles and a total of 17 yards of ribbons and trim.  What a fun way to build your ribbon stash so you always have just the right color and style of ribbon.  This assortment is still available, so why not JOIN TODAY and begin your subscription with this fun assortment.  (You do not need to purchase this assortment to play along with our challenge but you must use some sort of ribbon or trim on your project.)

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customize > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog till you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)

Victorian Trading Cards with Pretty Ribbons

Hello Friends!  I hope you are having a fabby day today! I'm super excited to share a trio of Victorian Trading Cards with you today.  I've used some of my favorite Really Reasonable Ribbons to make these cards extra special.

I've used a variety of my favorite ribbons to create these summer all-occasion cards. Let's take a closer look.

This thank you card has an embossed base and has been adorned with a double bow made with airy 7/8" white organza and summery light blue micro gingham.  This one makes me think of a blue sky filled with clouds!

This happy birthday card uses 2 1/2" wide natural cotton ribbon in a beautiful Garden print as one of the three panels on the front of the card.  I also tore the ribbon in half down the center and tied a bow that I topped with some light, airy Lavender Dots Organza ribbon.  This ribbon is tiny, but mighty, and ties so nicely with the help of the Zutter Bow it All.  I finished this one off by wrapping the top of the card with natural burlap string and a loopy bow and button.

This soft and shabby Thinking of You card is greatly enhanced by the addition of Cream Mesh Ribbon. I love the way it lightens up the card base, and still allows a little of the color and texture to show through.  I topped this beauty with a sumptous Aqua Shimmer Satin Bow and a sweet nosegay of Pink and White Chrysanthemums.

I used a wonderful All Occasion Card Kit from Polly's Paper Etsy to make all three cards.  It comes with the images, ephemera, and 4x6" card panels. I added goodies from my stash and Really Reasonable Ribbons and trims to put my own twist on the kit.  I love these soft floral images, and hope you do, too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Kitschy Fun!

Good morning and Happy Wednesday RRR peeps!  I recently broke out my old PTI stamp set and mixed it up with some fun vintage fabrics.....I used old hankies, kitschy polka dot fabric, and tulle for fullness.  I stayed in the red and aqua family and just had fun coming up with multiple combinations.   I used red seam bindingburlap center stitch in red, and blue burlap string.  I also used some buttons for the centers along with some red rose cabochons.  I love the pop of red....so 1950's!  Enjoy and thanks for visiting!  Cherry

Springtime Lilacs

Hi there crafty peeps!  It's Amber here just popping in quickly today to share with you a simple greeting card I made with some lovely purple ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon and a vintage lilac image from Crafty Secrets.

I cut the image out with a Ticket shape die and matted it with purple cardstock.  I embossed white cardstock with a Anna Griffin Embossing folder to make a simple but pretty background paper.  I used purple plaid ribbon, plum diamond satin ribbon, and Sandra white crochet lace to create a band around the card. I used the plum ribbon to also make a triple loop bow with my Bow It All tool.  I hope you enjoy and have a wonderful day!

You've Been Spotted

Hey everyone.  How's it going?  It's Dana with you today and I want to share a card I made using some fabulous Swiss Dots Grosgrain from the assortment ribbon pack.  I have been seeing dots and spots for a few weeks lately and I love it.  I've seen scarves, dresses and even hats with this fresh look.  So of course I had to add it to my card.
Here is a closeup of this fabulous ribbon.  And as I always say, the Bow-It-All V2 makes me look like a pro.  This grosgrain ribbon makes bows so easily too. What's even better is this assortment pack has five pretty colors to choose from.
Thanks for hanging out with me today.  I'm sure you'll want to go load up a cart with some of this delicious ribbon.  Head on over to the shop and get starting with your ribbon happiness purchase.

See ya soon,
Dana
