Perfectly Purple Thank You Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  It's Kathy here with a lovely thank you card made with luscious ribbons from the July Perfectly Purple Ribbon Club Assortment.

Mmmm...I just love all these soft dreamy shades of purple, don't you?

I love to use printed ribbons as borders on my card.  They add a lovely touch of pattern, texture and shine to the design.  This Quatrefoil Print on Delphinium Satin Ribbon looks great with these papers from Kaisercraft's Lilac Whisper Collection.

I created this pretty double bow cluster with Hyacinth Taffeta Ribbon, Silver Metallic String and some roses from my stash.  I'm a huge fan of taffeta ribbon as it ties gorgeous, crisp bows!

Pretty pockets line the inside of this purplicious card.  Chocolate is always a sweet addition to a thank you note.

I cleaned up the scraps on my table to make this lovely little gift card wallet and tag combo.

Using the Quatrefoil Ribbon as a header and footer on this tag adds such a lovely pop of color.  And it looks great on top of the tag, too.

I predict that you're going to love this ribbon club mix of gorgeous purple ribbons!  You can learn more about the Perfectly Purple Ribbon Club Mix and the RRR Monthly Ribbon Club HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!

Princess Journal with Really Reasonable Ribbons

Hi Everyone and thanks so much for stopping over on the blog today to see what is new.  I hope that you had a lot of fun on the hop this month and got lots of ideas with the new Ribbon Club Ribbons.

Today I have a special Princess Journal to share with all of you that I did for me.  I work at Disneyland and get to meet lots of adorable princesses around the world and I needed a special place to put down all the stories that I have of them so I created this journal with lots of pretty ribbons, flower and papers with a fun Disney Princess theme.

I just used a regular journal book for the base and created the front with a chipboard castle, Spellbinders dies for the oval and the leaves and fun sticker that I had in my stash.  The pretty flowers are the WOC Sweetheart Blossoms in pink and WOC Gardenia's in shades of pink to match the paper.

I love putting lots of ribbons hanging on the sides of my journals for bookmarks and I chose the lightest pink Seam binding ribbons for this one and some Metallic Silver String to tie on my charms.

And here is another quick closeup of the castle and the flowers that I used.  I hope you like it and maybe this might be a fun journal to make with all the little princesses in your life for summer.  Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping over to see what is new with all of us :)

Let's Celebrate

Hey fans.  It's Dana here!  We are doing a TON of celebrating this month in my household.  My hubby's birthday was a last week, he's retiring in a just a few days and what do you know Valentine's Day is here.  We are going to be broke this entire month.  LOL  I slipped this little card into his car this morning reminding him of his upcoming big day.

Of course I used fantastic ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon to "tie" it all together.  Here I used the 1/8" orange diagonal striped ribbon along with some metallic silver string.  I know you've heard me say it more than once, but I love that metallic string!

Here's a close up of both ribbons.  Something purty right?  I am ga-ga over all the ribbon in the shop.  I should show you how much I have but I'll keep that for another day.  My stamp room is a wreck at the moment.  LOL  Have a great day everyone!

Hugs,
Dana

Makin' a List and Checkin' it Twice

I am a huge list maker and it keeps me on track with all the things I do in my busy life, so today I created two projects to make those lists more jolly for you to use and a fun way to do a Christmas countdown for your family.  It's really small and portable too!!

For these two projects, I used lots of pretty satin ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The red and green on the countdown pad project is called Checkerboard Satin and the green is Metallic Edged Satin.  And the Santa Claus pad cover uses Pink Satin/Grosgrain Ribbon,  Metallic Silver String, and a pink button to tie it all together.  The paper is from Bo Bunny and I used the 12 x12 printed piece to cut a 4 inch wide cover for it.  I used a snowflake from my stash and lined the inside with the matching pink on the other side of the paper so it was really quick and easy. The top notepad holder is made with Teresa Collins papers and tags.  It was quick and easy and they would be great to make for gifts too.

Since I am trying to use up some of the things I have in my stash, I had this set of countdown tags from MME and matching papers so I created a Countdown close pin that I could change the tags for each day until Christmas.  I love it!!  This would be a really fun project for the kids to help you with and it really doesn't take much time at all.  The pretty ribbon that I used for this came from the new Winter Wonderland Mix Ribbon Club Assortment for this month.  It has skads of beautiful ribbons in it and I have lots of other fun things to share this month that I did with it too.  My other favorite ribbon is the Holiday checked ribbon on the countdown project.  I picked up all the colors in the paper and the pretty star that I used for the top with the snowflake on it.

Well that's it from me today so get those lists made and have fun shopping :)

Shine Bright With Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hey peeps  It's Dana from Got Joy Creations here with you today. Had a welcoming break from making holiday cards.  My in-laws just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.  I am over the moon happy for them. You just don't see these kinds of numbers anymore in a marriage.

So here is the card I made for them.  I love how this card came out.  It's very clean and simple for me and that shine of this metallic silver string from Really Reasonable Ribbon is amazing on this card.  I'm pretty hooked on this thin and sparkly string.

Here's a closeup.  Isn't this metallic string to die for?  Oh the shine on this one is gorgeous!   And in the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop you can find this same string in gold and iridescent white.  This string just adds the prettiest touch to your holiday cards.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today and make sure to come back soon.  We have so much to show you here at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Have a fantastic week everyone.

Hugs
Dana

Tag, You're It - Holiday Tag Time

Hey peeps.  It's Dana from Got Joy Creations back to share a bit of inspiration with you.  I'm plowing away at trying to get my holiday tags made.  I use them a lot during this time of year.  So here is one of them for you to take a peek at.

I used the October Ribbon Club kit for my tag today.  The ribbon in this kit is perfect for the upcoming holiday.  The delicate stitched satin forest green ribbon paired up just right with my designer paper.  And I love the metallic silver string that's in the store.  FABULOUS!

Here's a close up of the metallic ribbon.  How awesome is that?  I made some serious loops with my Bow It All to get tons of sparkle at the top of my tag.  The BEST investment for making bows look fantastic!  Thanks for hanging out with me today.  Come back tomorrow to see another design team members project.
