Christmas Greetings

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you all! Today I have a sweet Christmas card I designed using Really Reasonable Ribbon's beautiful supplies! I absolutely LOVE Christmas time and decorating for the season, and I also LOVE making Christmas cards as they are so fun to design.

On my card here I used some old Christmas paper I had in my stash, and then layered it with brown and pink card stock, and sewing for embellishing. I used RRR Scotch tape refills to put my layers together and then added sewing on each layer. The foam squares I used to give it a 3-D effect. Then I added my Christmas tree and snowman from My Makers Movement which are stamps and matching dies, love them too!  Lastly I embellished with Really Reasonable Ribbon, flowers, stamens, and heart gem and of course beautiful ribbon! Love how this card turned out!

Silver & Gold Gingerbread House Card

Hello friends and happy Monday to you! I hope you had a lovely weekend and to start of the week, I have a super sweet and special holiday card to show you! I just received my new Gingerbread House Die set from Anna Griffin and let me tell you, it is so much fun! Almost as much fun as making a real gingerbread house for the holidays, but without all the mixing, baking and dishes to clean up...just lots of little pieces of paper scraps)😊
And what goes perfect with this silver and gold gingerbread house? The fabulous Silver and Gold Mix November Ribbon Club Assortment, but of course! It sparkles, it shines and it's a match made in heaven with my little gingerbread house easel card! 💖 it! I made a big double bow for the chimney using 2 of the beautiful ribbons from this assortment; Diamond Satin Old Gold and Holiday Dots and Gold Ovals on White Satin Ribbon. I added a Silver Glitter Stardust Heart Shaped Rhinestone to the center of the double bow.
For the decorations on the front of the house, I used 3D foam sheets, then added gold glitter foil to them. I made 2 small bows using 3/8" Satin with Silver Metallic Edge White and added a rhinestone heart to each center, then I placed them atop each gold lollipop.
What a shimmery, glittery good time this festive easel card was to put together! I hope you like it!
And that's all for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by and letting me share a bit of holiday inspiration with you! Until next time, happy crafting!

Garden Goddess Shaker Card

Hello Ribbon Lovers!  I trust you all had a restful and happy Thanksgiving weekend! Did you get a chance to play in your crafty space?  I did!  And I'm here with one more reason to fall in love with the November Ribbon Club Assortment

I discovered the perfect playmate for Graphic 45's new Garden Goddess Collection.  This bow cluster is made with 5/8" Sherbet Shimmer Satin Ribbon and 3/8" Moss/Cream Plaid Ribbon.

The inside of the card has a fun flap feature and a pocket filled with goodies.

Tea, like ribbon, makes everything better!

Fluttering with the November Ribbon Club

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  If purple is your color, then today's post is just for you!  I fell hard for the Grape Shimmer Satin Ribbon in the November Ribbon Club Assortment.  It's such a soft, vintage shade with a subtle, elegant touch of shine.  Then I got really excited when I realized how beautifully this ribbon pairs with Graphic 45's new "Flutter" collection.  Take a look.

I tucked this double loop bow in the corner of my flower cascade to "tie" everything together.  Then I added just a touch more sparkle with a simple double loop bow of Metallic Silver String.  I think it's purplicious!

I'm pretty much smitten with all the ribbons in this month's club.  It's like having a flower garden at your fingertips.  I hope you get a chance to play with these gorgeous ribbons soon!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas Joy Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all!
Today's Christmas Joy card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using beautiful Lace & Ribbon from the RRR store.

I hope you all had a very blessed Thanksgiving, spending it with your loved ones. :)

For my card I kept this super simple, no sewing, and just two layers, as this week was a crazy week for me, and I'm sure for many of you too.

I started with a 6 x12 card stock in brown, and scored it to create a 6 x6 card base. Next I cut one of the Graphic45 design papers to 5 3/4" x 5 3/4"and attached it using the new Scotch Advanced tape roll from Really Reasonable Ribbon, love this stuff! I used it to attach each layer.
Next I used the foam tabs to give the layer 3-D look. I also used them on the little Christmas sentiment tag.

For embellishing, I used the sweet Antique Bronze Vintage Flower charms in the corners of the image and on the little sentiment tag. Next I made a big beautiful bow out of the satin swirl ribbon that came in the November Ribbon assortment.  I love this ribbon, it's absolutely beautiful! I went for a different look by adding the lace down each side of my card front. It's the beautiful Arianna Natural Crocheted Lace.  Lastly I added my flower charm to the center of the bow.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies:
Scotch advance tape roll
Foam tabs
Antique Bronze Vintage Flower Charms
November Ribbon Assortment(Satin Swirl)
Cream with Turftan Brown Satin with Swirl Ribbon
Arianna Natural Crocheted Lace
Flower Charm

I hope you enjoyed my post for today , and thank you for stopping by!

Hugs to all,

Christmas Poinsettias with Graciellie Design and Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello, it is Gloria with you today, in a rare appearance on the RRR Blog! You usually only see me for the monthly hop! I am very happy to be able to bring you a special Christmas card post today! The team from Really Reasonable Ribbon has paired up with Graciellie Design, and we had an opportunity to play with the wonderful digital stamps and digital papers from Graciellie Design.

I used some digital papers and sentiment stamps from the Christmas Poinsettias Set from Graciellie Design and ribbon from the RRR November Ribbon Club Assortment, plus some hoarded ribbon from one of the past ribbon club assortments (5/8" Christmas Tradition Plaid Ribbon)!
I have used Graciellie Design images before, so it was such a treat to get a chance to use them again. This set has a lovely flower image and FOUR beautiful sentiments.
As a bonus, I also got a chance to use the stunningly beautiful papers in the Holiday Traditions Digital Paper Pack.
I created a top-fold 6" x 6" card to showcase, not only the papers and sentiment, but also the ribbon bouquet. I printed the digital papers at 8" x 8" onto on off-white cardstock. I do not have a 12" x 12" printer, so I always print my papers at 8" x 8" as it makes the prints the perfect size for card making.
I printed the sentiment with black ink and then cut it out with an oval die. I backed the sentiment with a decorative oval cut from gold cardstock.

For the ribbon bouquet, I first wrapped a length of the 5/8" Christmas Tradition Plaid Ribbon around the card. Then, I tied a loopy bow from the 3/8" Vanilla Satin with Gold Metallic Edges, which is part of the November Ribbon Club Assortment, and glued it to the card. I created a larger bow from the plaid ribbon and glued it just above the satin bow.
I glued a charm, a few bells, and a tiny pine cone to the top of the ribbon. I also tucked in some gold ball garland and one of the Red Spiral Stamens into the top of the bow.
I topped the sentiment with some Christmas-y enamel dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Be sure to stop back each day to see some new ideas and inspiration featuring ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and digital stamps and papers from Graciellie Design.

Happy Crafting,
Gloria

Perfect Fall Memories

Happily, it's finally fall here in California with cooler temps and everything seems to be getting a little greener thankfully.  Sure would like some rain to give all the plants a good drink though :)  So.... going to pumpkin patches and picking apples is not much of a secret to everyone that I just love doing every year.  I had a neat book kit from Heidi Swapp in my stash so I decided to create a mini book that I could put all the photos I took this year of the fun we had.

To start, I inked around the edges with brown chalk ink and then created this design in the center of the book.  I used a piece of orange print paper I had in my stash and then I added a wooden doily from the craft store and a sticker, some leaves I die cut and Jute String from RRR.  The gorgeous ribbons on the rings is from the November Ribbon Club Assortment.

The inside I did really simple and used tags and other goodies from Echo Parks fall collection of papers and stick on tags and goodies.  It was really fun and now I just need to print out the photos to pop inside of it.  How fun!!

Thanks for stopping over today.... Teresa

Elegant Wedding Card

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today I am bringing you another inspiration for you to create something with our November Ribbon Club Assortments. I know we are all in the big Christmas mood already, but how about some clean and simple wedding card?

I designed this card specifically to show off this awesome silver ribbon from our November Ribbon Club Assortment. With minimal stamping and clean background, you can make a trim to say a lot for your card.

Don't you love the cool patterns on the ribbon? This is one of my favorite from this month's assortment. I kept the rest of the color scheme to match the ribbon, with silver and blue. Added a small pearl on the cake image for a finishing touch.

If you haven't done so, make sure to grab this month's ribbon club assortment!

Hope you like today's card! Thanks for joining us today and make sure to check tomorrow for another inspiration!

Hugs,

Nicole

My Beautiful Daughter

Today I am posting my first project on Really Reasonable Ribbon's blog and I chose to share a project I made using my beautiful daughter's picture.
This month at Really Reasonable Ribbon, the Ribbon Club Assortment is so delicious! Look at all those rich Gold and Silvers. Are you a member of the Monthly Ribbon Club? Let me tell you there are some great perks to getting these assortments. I have found that I try ribbons I would have never seen or tried unless I got them in the Monthly Ribbon Club assortment.
Let me share a recycle project and fun design using some of my favorites.
I found this shadowbox frame in clearance because the side had a tear where the price tag or a label was.
Now doesn't that yummy ribbon work well right there?
This silver diamond pattern can be found in this great assortment also .
I also used the Silver Satin with Silver Edges to make bows and decorate the corners.
I wanted to share that that beautiful green flower is a gift from a talented Natasha. The red flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
So hopefully you are signed up to receive your RRR Monthly Ribbon Club assortment- you are going to love it!!!

Veteran's Day Card

Happy Veteran's Day! In honor of this special occasion, I decided to make a Thank You card for all the amazing men and women who have and who are currently serving our country.

For this patriotic card, I cut my 5" x 4" base from Royal Blue Bazzill cardstock and then rounded the bottom corners. I then cut 4 5/8" by 3 5/8" piece of white cardstock and embossed it with Cuttlebug's Seeing Spots folder. And then the fun part! I created a flag out of ribbons and trim.

The stripes were created with six 4 1/2" strips of Red Stripe Grosgrain and attached to the base with Scor-Tape. I usually have to add a TON of adhesive to attach ribbon to an embossed surface, but not with the Scor-Tape. LOVE that! The field of blue was created with royal blue shimmery satin from the November Ribbon Club Assortment. Finally, I added three stars cut from the Silver Star Trim also in the November Ribbon Club Assortment.

Thanks so much for visiting today! Hope to see you Saturday for our November Blog Hop!
