Grungy Coiled Jute Rope Flower Tutorial

Step 1. Punch one circle for each flower from coordinating cardstock. For this natural color jute rope, I used kraft cardstock. For the jute rope flower I used a 1 inch circle.

Step 2. Apply Fabric Glue to top of cardstock circle.

Step 3. Coil the jute rope in your fingers until it is approximately the same diameter as your 1 inch circle.

Step 4. Lay the coil on the glue covered cardstock circle.

Step 5. Wrap the end to the back and glue in place.

Step 6. Add small screw or other embellishment to center of flower.

Step 7. Apply black ink to flower.

Completed flower

Grungy Rolled Burlap Flower Tutorial

Step 1. Punch one circle for each flower from coordinating cardstock. For this natural color
Burlap Woven Ribbon, I used kraft cardstock punched with a 1.5 inch circle.

Step 2. Glue the end of the Burlap Woven Ribbon to the center of the cardstock circle.

Step 3. Twist the burlap ribbon and coil around the center, gluing down as you go.

Step 4. Continue to twist, coil and glue until the entire cardstock circle is covered.

Step 5. Wrap the end to the back and glue in place.

Step 6. Add small vintage nuts and washers or other embellishments to center of flower.

Step 7. Apply black ink to flower.

Completed Flower

Thanks for stopping by for my tutorial!! I hope you'll give these grungy guy flowers a try. For more details and close-ups for "My Hero" including a tutorial for the Grungy Gear Flowers you can go here

All Tied Up "For You"

Let's talk yellow and purple today with the Really Reasonable Ribbon Seam Binding Forwythia ribbon also I used the Jumbo Leaves, Moss Green to add that oriental touch to the cup.  I wanted to add some subtle texture with my ribbon without spending an elaborate amount of time doing so.   When the Kimonos are all tied up, the knots look just gorgeous and perfectly plump in the middle.  This is exactly what I tried to add to my project for today.

These are indeed just simple knots, but when you pull the ribbon place your fingers close to the center of the knot and keep your nails up under the ribbon that forms the center so that it stays straight and plump looking.
Then all you have to do is try to space the knots out perfectly so that the lovely knot centers are at the edge of the cup!  Sounds easier than it actually is, but try try again!    I decided to cut the edges of the ribbon down quite close to the knot so more of the cup shaped card would show and added pearls to the center of the knots.
Here is my project today with the Shape EZ template and LOTV copic colored stamp.

You will find more information on my blog, If you get a chance to visit, be sure to join my candy as well!

Adorable Vintage Halloween Witch Tags

***Winner of this collage sheet is Sylvia***
Thank you everyone for the comments :0)
Hello Friends!!
Happy Friday!!
Heather here and today I would like to share with you a couple little Halloween gift tags that I made.
This sweet little Vintage Witch tag has been embellished with some fabby goodies from
Really Reasonable Ribbon!!
I tied off the top of my little tag with the new
Champagne Chevron striped twill ribbon!  I also used some of my favorite Brown Sugar Baker's Twine and 15mm Deep Ivory rose
The images are ones I created using GIMP.  I made the collage sheet below.
You can find it here.  Of course if you would like a chance to win this collage sheet, then just leave a comment below!

Here is another tag.
On this tag I tied off the top with some lovely
Chocolate Seam Binding.  I also added some festive
Halloween Baker's Twine!  The tiny button is from the
Vintage Button Bonanza at Really Reasonable Ribbon!
I also used the Tombow foam pads to elevate my layers and the scor tape to adhere my flat layers.
Another tag.
This one has been tied off at the top with the Orange Satin Center ribbon.  I LOVE it!  Really dresses up the tag, as well as some orange leaves15mm Deep Ivory roses and crochet lace.  I couldn't resist adding another fabby little button from the Vintage Button Bonanza collection.  I tied it with the Brown Sugar Baker's Twine
You know what would be really cute?  If I had a tiny little bag to put my tag in!  Lucky for us, Bonnie carries lots of fun little bags in the RRR store!!
I used one of my collage tags all by itself with out the offsets.  I punched a tiny hole in the top of the bag and attached my tag with a mix of Brown Sugar Baker's Twine and Orange Baker's Twine!
I used one more 15mm Deep Ivory rose and some
Black mini ric rac to dress up my tag!
I went ahead and stuck one of my tags in the Orange Chevron bag.
Across the bottom of my bag, I used more of the scor tape to hold my Tangerine Diamond Ribbon to the bag.  Then a layer of black gingham was used to tie a little bow.
Remember if you would like a chance to win the collage sheet, so you can create some fabulous little Halloween tags and dress them up with some Fabulous Really Reasonable Ribbons and Trims...just leave a comment below!
Now is the perfect time to do a stock up on RRR Goodies!!
Bonnie is having a sale!!
Thank you for visiting us today!

Shabby Chic Vintage Purse Mini & Videos

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a Shabby Chic /Vintage Mini Album Chipboard Purse designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon, using TONS of ribbon, lace, silk and flowers that can all be found at Really Reasonable Ribbon!

For the front of my album I used the Trellis Roses, 15mm roses, and Sweetheart Roses. Next I used the Camelle Lace  for the front as well. For my bow I used Silk, and Bonnie does have this in other colors

On this page I used the Edna Lace, Brown Crocheted Lace, Pink Pearl strand, Moss Green Leaves trim, Pink Silk, and then the Sweetheart Flowers. For the page below I used the same Silk and Edna Lace.

Here is another page using the beautiful Pink Silk, White Sweetheart Blossom Flowers and Moss Green Leaves Trim. The doily is a CottageCutz die.

On this next page I used more Edna Lace, Sheer Box pleated Trim, and  String Bead Trim, more Sweetheart Blossom in PINK :) and Pink Silk. All links are above as well.

Love this next page as it's pretty simple and will hold a photo of my 3 kids together. Again I used the Edna Lace, Brown Crocheted Lace, Moss Green Leaves and Sweetheart Blossom Flowers on this page as well. I love all the laces that Bonnie carries and used them throughout this entire album.

This next page I used the Brown Double Ruffled Edge Satin Ribbon, and Brown Sweetheart Blossom Flowers, with Edna Lace behind them.
